According to the RA Ministry of Justice, construction works are planned in the former building of the Dilijan Overnight, which is currently on the balance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The building will serve as a social housing fund for compatriots who are forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
At the moment, the building is not subject to operation, it is risky, not safe, there are no communal services, there are no legal grounds for providing services to citizens here.
In recent years, about 40 compatriots who are forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh have settled in recent years. Those who need around the clock have been sent to care centers, and some families have moved to social accommodation in Yerevan, Abovyan, Gyumri, and some have preferred to live in homes.
At the moment, 12 people have been left in the building, who have also been offered the most secure and dignified conditions.
One of them will move to the social housing stock in Abovyan in the coming days. One of the families, consisting of 8 people, is going to be leased to live in (can also applied to the State Housing Support Program for Forced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh), and the possible options for transportation are discussed with the other three people.
After moving from the building, compatriots will also be able to use social assistance to care for living and other expenses.
