On February 10, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 17:50, the Davitashen Department of the Main Department of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information that a woman’s body was found in the yard of one of the buildings in the 2nd district of Davitashen.
According to Shamshyan.com, police officers and patrols discovered a woman’s body in the yard of one of the high-rise buildings in the said district.
A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department on the facts of the incident. The police and investigators have established that the deceased is 68-year-old Svetlana O., a resident of the same building, who, according to preliminary information, committed suicide by jumping from the 9th floor.
By decision of the investigator, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
