On the basis of the decision of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, a disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the person holding an autonomous position in the Lori Region Prosecutor's Office. This was reported by the RA General Prosecutor's Office.
As part of the proceedings, the prosecutor was improperly fulfilled his official duties.
In particular, being responsible for the legality of criminal prosecution, the legality of the pre-trial proceedings, the existence of facts providing the commission of the crime was not to initiate a public criminal prosecution and resolving the process.
The results of the disciplinary proceedings were sent to the RA Prosecutor General under January 31 2025.
By the decision of February 5, 2025, the Ethics Committee considered the existence of a disciplinary violation and the prosecutor's guilt.
By the decision of the Prosecutor General, February 6, 2025, a disciplinary sanction of a "class degree, one degree" was imposed on a person holding an autonomous position at the Lori Region Prosecutor's Office.
