Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Georgetown University in Washington. The Prime Minister was greeted by the Dean of the Institute of Foreign Service after Edmund Voshl, Professor Joell Helman.
Nikol Pashinyan made a lecture, which was attended by students and lecturers who studied political science, international relations and security.
In his speech, the President touched upon the development and strengthening of democracy in Armenia, the implemented reforms, the current situation in the region, and the existing challenges, as well as the steps to resolve them. The Prime Minister stressed the commitment of the RA Government in the fight against democracy in this context, emphasizing the development of institutions and their capacity.
Nikol Pashinyan also touched upon the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey and emphasize the loyalty of the Armenian government to the peace agenda. The Prime Minister presented the "Peace Crossroads" project aimed at unblocking the paths of regional communication.
During the meeting, the head of state also answered the students and a number of questions of interest to the lecturers.
