After your statutory businessmen, we are shocked after your statements. We can't understand the logic, meaning or purpose of those statements.
In this letter, we want to tell you the deep concern. Based on the 1915 Armenian Genocide, we thought there was no doubt about the truth about why and who motivated the Genocide. Moreover, after 2020, from your statements, which, in fact, said that the issue of genocide is not the priority of your government, but in the Diaspora.
We accepted this reality to know as an internal affair of the Republic of Armenia, in the priorities and high interests of the state. However, it is surprising when you are a matter of question that you have left the discretion of the Diaspora and publicly spread thoughts in the direction of Turkish-Azerbaijani denial states and, of course, far from any scientific or historical arguments.
This statement, thoughtfully or not, adds water to the mill. Not trying to avoid a topic discussion, it is important to note the memory of genocide survivors and descendants, as well as for decades of decades, which, including Armenia, have accepted the fact of the Genocide.
With these statements, you are deeply insulting as the heirs of the genocide, and you distort the historical reality. We don't pretend to give you lessons, but remind you of a few facts to show that your statements are not true.
Do you say that "the issue of genocide has not been raised before 1939?" It should be reminded that the first monument to the memory of the Armenian Genocide was erected in 1916 in Polis. The Assembly of Belgium's Armenian Assembly selected by our community, the preface of the 1922 charter, wrote: "Being the Genocide survivors."
And what do we say about many works and articles published in different countries of the world in 1939? You must not forget that you are talking about destroyed, uprooted, broken, and significantly orphaned population, which aims to survive, not allowing the genocide to be exterminated.
You are limited to the Soviet Union (I have) in your image, and you do amazing conclusions. It should be noted that the USSR still did not exist in 1915.
