Kenyan police have arrested a murder suspect after the bodies of several women were found in a garbage dump in a Nairobi slum, the local Star newspaper reported, citing law enforcement officials. According to the head of Kenya's Criminal Investigation Department, Mohamed Amin, quoted by the publication, the arrested man confessed to killing 42 women over a two-year period. Earlier, Citizen Digital reported that between Friday and Saturday, police found the bodies of several women wrapped in garbage bags at a landfill in the Kwari hinterland of the Kenyan capital. The president said a total of nine bodies were found, but witnesses reported more. On Saturday, police at the landfill had to fire into the air to control angry crowds demanding answers. Two sprinklers arrived at the scene to maintain calm.
