American entrepreneur Elon Musk has called for a test to test the mental abilities of officials after 81-year-old incumbent Congressman Kay Granger from Texas ended up in a nursing home suffering from dementia after getting lost on the street.
The Dallas Express previously reported that Granger was out of work for most of the second half of this year. the last time he voted was on July 24.
According to the publication, calls to the congressman went unanswered, he did not respond to voice messages, and an anonymous person told the publication that he was in a nursing home for dementia patients.
The Dallas Express reports that its team visited a nursing home where staff at the facility confirmed the congressman was living there.
