Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the Doha Forum on Saturday.They discussed the main topics of the forum, including the situation in Syria and Palestine.
"At the meeting, the relations between the two countries, the ways of their strengthening and development were discussed, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, as well as the most urgent topics on the agenda of the forum," the office said in a statement.
The two-day Doha Forum opened for the 26th time in the capital of Qatar on Saturday. Leaders of many countries, their governments, ministers, experts participate in it.
