India hopes to stabilize the situation in South Korea

India follows the developments in South Korea and expects the situation to stabilize. The official representative of the Indian Foreign Ministry, Randhir Jaiswal, announced this in a briefing.

"We are closely following the developments and we hope that the situation in the country will stabilize soon," he said, answering the question about what is happening in South Korea.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India noted that New Delhi and Seoul "have a very important partnership".

"We have strong economic and political relations, investment and trade ties, close cooperation in the field of defense as well as people-to-people ties. A large number of Indian citizens live in South Korea.

We continue to closely monitor all these events so that, if any unforeseen circumstances emerge, they cannot affect the security of our citizens and our interests," said the Indian diplomat.
