The creation of a new NATO post in Germany is behind schedule, writes Bloomberg

The creation of a new NATO command post in Germany to assist Ukraine, which was supposed to begin work last fall, is behind schedule, reports Bloomberg, citing sources.

In June, NATO defense ministers agreed on a plan to strengthen NATO's coordinating role in military support to Kyiv; it was reported that command structures in Wiesbaden in Germany and Eastern European countries would be involved in coordinating arms supplies to Ukraine.

According to former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the personnel involved in this plan will consist of about 700 employees, and the training of the Ukrainian military will be carried out by allies on the territory of the alliance countries.
