A powerful flare has occurred on the Sun

Scientists have recorded a powerful flare on the Sun, close to class X. This was reported to TASS by the Institute of Applied Geophysics.

"On November 10, at 3:06 p.m. Moscow time, a 31-minute flare was recorded," the message says.

Solar flares are divided into five classes based on the power of X-rays: A, B, C, M, and X.

Flares are usually accompanied by the emission of solar plasma, the clouds of which, reaching the Earth, can cause magnetic storms, which, in turn, lead to disruptions in the work of energy systems, and also affect the migration routes of birds and animals.
