"Ishkhanutyun" news agency learned that 59-year-old Hakob Sargsyan, who was found in inhumane conditions in the basement of a semi-built building in Armavir region, died in hospital yesterday.
Let us recall that on August 14, two residents of Armavir were found in the basement of a semi-built building in Armavir region. They were found in extremely difficult living conditions, malnourished and exhausted, after which they were transferred to the "Armavir" medical center.
Hakob Sargsyan was examined at the medical facility. According to laboratory tests conducted at that time, no significant deviations were recorded.
Hours later, the 59-year-old man was transferred to Yerevan to receive further medical care. Later, his health condition deteriorated sharply.
The press secretary of the Minister of Health, Mariam Tsatryan, confirmed the information about the death of Hakob Sargsyan.
"He was a patient receiving treatment in the intensive care unit and received the necessary medical care throughout this time. He had many health problems, it was not about one disease or one problem. Yesterday, the medical center informed us that he had died."
