Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has advised the German authorities to pursue a more balanced policy towards Russia and not to try to enter into a direct confrontation with Moscow.
“I think they should come to their senses and pursue a much more balanced policy, rather than trying to enter into a direct confrontation with our country,” Medvedev told RT.
According to him, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and some representatives of his government are following the path of forgetting the results of World War II.
“The current Federal Chancellor and his staff are essentially continuing the sad work of their predecessors,” Medvedev said.
