According to the statement, on September 18, the American leader signed a bill that "provides for the application and expansion of sanctions, tariffs and embargoes against Russia, as well as the extension of existing sanctions against Iran."
Thus, the law entered into legal force. The US Congress previously approved an initiative that imposes restrictions on Russia's top political and military leadership, state-owned companies, and secondary sanctions against Russia's trading partners.
It mainly refers to US Senator Lindsey Graham (who is included in Russia's list of terrorists and extremists). He died on July 11.
