Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum will participate in the final of the World Cup on July 19 at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. Milenio newspaper reports this, referring to the statement of the head of state.
"Yes, I received an invitation from President Trump to attend the World Cup finals on Sunday. I decided to participate because it was a direct invitation from the US president," the newspaper quoted Sheinbaum as saying.
The head of state also noted that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will attend the final. The final of the world championship will be held on July 19 in New York. Spain and Argentina will compete in the decisive match for the cup.
