The office of the supreme leader of Iran has announced to hold a memorial service for the fallen leader of the country, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Tehran.
According to a report published by Mehr Agency, the event will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 1405 (July 14, 2026) in the Iranian calendar, in the prayer hall of the Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran.
The ceremony will be held from 17:00 to 19:00 and will be organized by the initiative of the new supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
The statement of the office expressed condolences on the death of Ali Khamenei, his family members, as well as supporters of the Islamic revolution.
The organizers stated that citizens' participation in the ceremony will confirm their support for the future political direction of the country and loyalty to the political legacy of Ali Khamenei.
