"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: "According to the information of "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, candidate for deputy of "Strong Armenia" party alliance, human rights defender Aram Vardevanyan has already told his teammates that he is not interested in receiving a parliamentary mandate.
In other words, if the new opposition forces decide to take the mandates and enter the National Assembly, then Vardevanyan is going to give up his mandate.
We contacted Aram Vardevanyan in order to get clarification on the topic. The latter neither confirmed nor denied the information, stating that he will first of all respect the united position of the team. At the same time, he emphasized that it is too early to talk about such issues at this stage, because the results of the elections are going to be challenged in the Constitutional Court in the near future.
Thus, while the opposition field is still fighting over the results of the elections, information is already circulating that not all candidates are going to take their place in the parliament regarding the future mandates.
