This time, we studied the declarations of Margarita Hartenyan, judge of the Civil Court of Appeals, in order to understand what changes occurred in her property.
Margarita Hartenyan has been a judge of the Appellate Civil Court since October 21, 2014.
Year 2021
In the 2021 declaration, Margarita Hartenyan did not declare any real estate as a property. At the beginning of the year, there is no data in the declaration about real estate acquired or alienated during the year, as well as at the end of the year.
At the same time, the judge declared that he actually possessed a 2014 Toyota passenger car owned by a third party for 90 or more days. Vehicle identification data and owner data are protected.
At the beginning of 2021, there were 5,859,675 drams in the judge's bank accounts, and at the end of the year - 5,380,049 drams. The balance of the bank account in euros at the beginning of the year was 5,004 euros, and at the end of the year it increased to 17,664 euros.
In terms of cash, Margarita Hartenyan had 35,000 USD at the beginning and end of the year. Cash funds in drams amounted to 13,500,000 drams in both periods. Cash in euros decreased from 50,000 euros at the beginning of the year to 22,000 euros at the end of the year.
The total income declared by Margarita Hartenyan in 2021 was 21,925,864 drams. From that, he received 11,873,341 drams from the RA Judicial Department in the form of wages and other equivalent payments.
His income from the RA Law School Foundation was 315,437 AMD, and from the "Academy of Justice" SNOC - 124,790 AMD. The declared other income from the RA SRC amounted to 2,971,967 drams. In addition, the amount of the loan received from Ardshinbank CJSC was AMD 6,640,329.
As of December 31, 2021, the principal balance of the loan received by Margarita Hartenyan was AMD 26,389,216. The statement states that the loan is related to the apartment and the parking lot. During the year, payments aimed at repayment of the loan amounted to 3,132,263 drams.
In addition, the property/means given as a donation or aid in the amount of 12,171 euros is mentioned in the declaration, the dram equivalent of which is presented in the declaration as 6,622,484.52 drams.
Year 2025
At the beginning of 2025, Margarita Hartenyan owned three real estates in Yerevan: a parking lot, an apartment and a private residential house. The parking lot and the apartment were acquired on December 27, 2023 by purchase. And the individual residential house was acquired by the judge on June 8, 2022, through a donation.
During 2025, Margarita Hartenyan did not acquire new real estate and did not alienate any real estate. At the end of the year, the same three properties are still present in the declaration.
The judge did not declare the vehicle as a property. However, the declaration states that during 2025, he actually possessed a 2014 Toyota car for 90 or more days, which he does not own.
At the beginning of 2025, one of the judge's bank accounts contained 6,773,237.9 drams, and at the end of the year, 5,750,394.6 drams. The balance of the account in euros decreased from 8,107.96 euros at the beginning of the year to 5,000.51 euros. In the other account, there were no funds at the beginning of the year, but at the end of the year there were 568.2 USD.
In terms of cash, no euro was declared at the beginning of the year, and 4,000 euros were available at the end of the year. Cash in US dollars remained at $35,000. Cash in drams increased from 9,000,000 drams at the beginning of the year to 10,000,000 drams at the end of the year.
In 2025, Margarita Hartenyan declared a total income of 19,570,479 drams. Of that, 16,204,707 drams were wages and other payments equal to it, which he received from the staff of the RA Supreme Judicial Council, the Judicial Department.
The income tax refund received from the RA SRC amounted to AMD 3,021,135. The other civil law contractual income received from the "Law Academy of the Republic of Armenia" fund amounted to 252,000 AMD, and from the "Academy of Justice" he received 92,637 AMD in the form of wages and other similar payments.
As of December 31, 2025, the principal balance of the loan received by Margarita Hartenyan was AMD 29,420,984. The statement states that the loan is related to the apartment. In 2025, payments aimed at repaying the loan amounted to 4,100,469.2 drams.
Thus, it can be seen from the declarations of Margarita Hartenyan that in 2021, she did not declare real estate with the right of ownership, and in 2025, she already declared three real estates located in the territory of Yerevan. At the end of 2025, his cash was 10,000,000 AMD, 35,000 USD and 4,000 EUR, and his total declared income was 19,570,479 AMD.
