The criminal case initiated about five years ago in the Anti-Corruption Court has come to the final stage.
Let's remind that a criminal case was initiated in the investigative department of the National Security Service regarding alleged abuses in the process of procurement of ammunition. In the framework of the case, seven persons have been charged, including former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, former head of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces Artak Davtyan and former deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Stepan Galstyan. All the accused in the criminal case are currently at liberty. The case is being investigated in the Anti-Corruption Court behind closed doors.
