In the last podcast, Robert Kocharian briefly said that he met with the Russian President, but did not elaborate. According to our information, the conversation was more of a protest and an attempt to put the responsibility on others. Kocharyan presented what "unbelievable successes" he could have achieved if he had not been beaten by the Sergeans and if Samvel Karapetyan had not appeared.
Then he listed what mistakes, in his opinion, the newly created "Strong Armenia" makes, from which the entire opposition suffers, and none of them will win, including "Strong Armenia".
At the end, he asked Victor Soghomyan to be appointed the president of the Union of Armenians of the Russian Federation, stressing that Ara Abrahamyan has a very negative attitude towards Karapetyan, therefore, he will not only not support the elections, but may even hinder them.
He assured that through Soghomonyan, he will do everything possible so that "Strong Armenia" gathers as many votes as possible. According to our information, the President of the Russian Federation instructed the special services on the spot to start the verification process of Viktor Soghomonyan, implying that the final decision depends on its results.
According to the same source, Ara Abrahamyan is no longer able to find anyone to intercede for him with Putin, and he has almost come to terms with the idea of losing the Union of Armenians. However, taking into account that such processes do not proceed quickly in the Russian Federation, he still hopes that he will not be affected before the elections.
