US President Donald Trump believes that Great Britain should expand oil production in the North Sea instead of buying it from Norway.
“Europe desperately needs energy, and yet the UK refuses to drill in the North Sea, home to some of the world's largest oil fields. Aberdeen (a city in Scotland on the North Sea coast) must be thriving. And Norway sells North Sea oil to Great Britain at twice the price and makes a fortune," the American leader wrote on Truth Social.
"Great Britain, which has a more advantageous energy position in the North Sea than Norway, should drill. It's crazy that they don't. And no more wind power plants," the US president thinks.
