"At the initial stage, the embassy will operate with a limited number of diplomatic and administrative staff, including the ambassador. Taking security issues and organizational aspects into account, a phased regulation of the embassy's activities is planned. Shortly after the cessation of hostilities and the announcement of a two-week ceasefire regime, the resumption of the work of the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran is a clear evidence of the special importance that Azerbaijan attaches to relations with its neighbor and friend Iran. Our country reaffirms its support for initiatives aimed at ensuring stable peace and stability in the region," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry noted.
