If they are so confident, why are they so... afraid? "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

You probably guessed that what is mentioned in the title refers to Nikol Pashinyan and the CP led by him. They tear their throats without occasion, saying: "We have 65 percent of the votes", "we will get a constitutional majority", "the opposition will lose" and so on...

Well, it is clear that all this is primarily aimed at the "ranks" who already have a lot of doubts, as well as the small number of people who are still "Nicolas".

But a few questions arise here. Well, if you're so sure, why are you shouting about it all the time? Confidence in one's abilities does not need to be talked about every minute. Oh, and when you start shouting about it every second, you remind Kaj Nazar walking through the forest, the deeper he went into the forest, the more the sound made his head spin... Indeed, if they are so confident, why are they so... insecure?

A recent example is the change in the "Electoral Code" that was made in vain yesterday.

In fact, they are afraid even of Samvel Karapetyan's name (well, also of his pictures), that they seize the documents a few days before submitting them to the CEC, and two months before the elections, and make arbitrary changes in the "Electoral Code".

By the way, with the rather ridiculous reasoning that we should have made that change in 2024, but there was a mistake, the president signed a different version.

No, we swear, this is not sarcasm. There is no creative or artistic element to what is said. In fact, it is the "justification" brought by CP and Pashinyan. Politically, a suicidal rationale.

Is Pashinyan at the level of management? No, can you imagine, they adopt a law, the president signs it, but then it turns out that there is a mistake or a significant omission in the text, which has already received legal force and document status? This, let's call things by their name, is a manifestation of the highest level of frivolity.

Listen, take a good look, what other laws have you adopted and signed after 2018, are they all written correctly, without omissions?

As for the arbitrary intervention in the "Electoral Code" yesterday, it is a double shame. First of all, it is a shame that such an important document is changed hastily, without political consensus, unilaterally, at the whim of the ruling anti-democratic regime.

It's a double shame that the change comes just two months before polling day. The accepted logic of electoral processes is that one year, half a year before the elections, the election rules cannot be changed.

It is one of the principles of fair, democratic and competitive selection. And Nikol Pashinyan and the Communist Party trample those principles. Or, as the same Pashinyan who displays "brilliant" literacy would say, "they consider it".

Well, as always. Okay, let's ask again, why did Pashinyan and CP, according to their own words, the "65 percent" party, fall apart like that? Why do they resort to such gross violations? It's certainly no accident. Such behavior speaks of the fact that, figuratively speaking, "a mouse fell instead of CP". More simply, they are scared. They are very scared. They are afraid of the inevitable prospect of losing power. And fear, as noted by psychologists, is a terrible thing. One of the expressions of Pashinyan's fears is to fake some dubious "polls" "in a hurry" and to publish mythical ratings on their part.

Added to the same fear, hysterics are also manifested by the statements made to the main oppositionists, which are below Pashinyan's standards. It has already become common, because Pashinyan has always distinguished himself with such words, but it is also a manifestation of weakness, fear and pettiness. The same Pashinyan horrors and fears of losing power are evidenced by the fact that some circles, which are allegedly fighting against Nikol Pashinyan, have started to intensify their speeches against the main opposition. They understood that Pashinyan's affairs are not good.

And after going back and forth to Moscow, they got worse. And in connection with all this, a very simple and comprehensible question arises. well, if you are so sure that you have 65 percent (they are modest, they don't say that they have 165 percent), if you are so sure that you will form a majority, etc., then why did you fall into such a quandary and ask for help "from the side"?

Yes, by the way, it is not a coincidence that a deputy from Kpa, so to speak, another "Nikolpashinyan", said a few days ago that they are the majority and can pass a law to prohibit everyone whose name is Samvel from having the right to vote. What a narrow, unsophisticated imagination.

Why only Samvel? Ban all Hayks, Arams, Armens, Anahits, Nares, Gayanes, Haykuhis, and arrest Ararats and Masis at once. No, this is not even a political diversion. This is a phenomenon still in search of a defining term. In addition, it is a phenomenon that clearly characterizes the closed mind, that is, they do not care about the law and legality, they need, whatever abnormal law you say, they will accept it.

And why don't you immediately adopt a "law" that those who are against the disastrous regime of the KP will not have the right to vote? You're in the majority, aren't you? I wonder if the Euro bureaucrats who stuck their noses in Armenia's internal affairs are giving such advice to Nikol Pashinyan and CP. And with their "high patronage", what other anti-democratic, in fact, outside the law and rules steps will the government, trembling with the fear of losing its "seats", and even more aggressive towards the public than that, take?

A government that is horrified by the name of the leader of one of the opposition forces, and cringes when hearing the last name of the leader of the other force. Eight years already. A government that threatens the Armenian people with war, although it tries to sell "peace". Not the phenomenon, just the word...
