On March 12, an extraordinary incident took place in Yerevan. On that day, during a tour of secondary school No. 91 in Yerevan, the director of the school, 62-year-old Gayane G., and the chairman of the parent committee, 38-year-old Gayane N., a resident of Yerevan, informed the community police officer of the Malatiya department of the Main Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs that a young man was approaching children and showing his genitals, after which he left and provided a photo of the said young man.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, as a result of the measures taken by the community police of Malatia, it was found out that the person who committed the act is 20-year-old Arman O., a resident of Yerevan, who was arrested on the basis of reasonable suspicion of committing a lewd act and was taken to the Malatia police station in the "Opel" car he was driving.
According to the fact of the incident, documents were drawn up in the Malatia police department, which together with Arman O. were submitted to the investigation department of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.
Notice: The person suspected or accused of the alleged crime is considered innocent, until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code, by the court's legally binding verdict.
