Additional security forces have been deployed in the areas affected by the attacks to support counter-terrorism operations in the state. These operations in northwest Pakistan continue after the February 6 terrorist attack in Islamabad that killed more than 30 people.
It was found that the organizer of the attack was connected with the terrorist group "Islamic State" (banned in Russia) and was trained in Afghanistan.
