"Politico" writes that the US will not provide security guarantees to Ukraine until it signs a peace agreement with Russia. The article mentions that Washington has set a condition for Kiev.
"The United States has made it clear to Ukraine that it will not enter into an agreement on security guarantees to protect Ukraine from future Russian aggression until Kiev and Moscow reach a common agreement to end the conflict," the article states.
The authors of the publication also note that the peace process "has stalled" because Russia allegedly "stubbornly insists on its claims to the territories" that "Ukraine is not ready to cede".
