Pezeshkian: Iran is not seeking to develop nuclear weapons

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran is not going to develop nuclear weapons and is ready for any kind of monitoring on that issue. He mentioned this in his speech to the public on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, TASS correspondent reports.

"We are honest with the world and our people. We do not seek to create nuclear weapons. We have stated this many times and are ready for any verification. But the high wall of mistrust, which the USA and Europe have built with their speeches, does not allow these negotiations to bear fruit.

Iran will not bow to their excessive demands. Iran will not give in to injustice and aggression. We conduct a dialogue with neighboring countries for peace and stability in the region," he said.
