Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayari stated that the Iranian Army is fully ready to defend the territorial integrity, independence and political order of its country.
Habibollah Sayari said: "We have opportunities to harm the enemy. And they perfectly understand that any risk will lead to serious losses." Fars news agency quoted his words.
According to Sayari, the United States is trying to scare the Islamic Republic with statements about sending significant American forces to the Middle East, but the Iranian army is fully ready to defend its country's territorial integrity, independence and political order. Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that large American forces are approaching Iran.
He expressed hope that Tehran will agree to the deal.
