North Korean President Kim Jong-un has sent New Year's greetings to the soldiers and officers of the Korean People's Army serving in overseas troops, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported: "Pyongyang and Moscow stand by you.
Thanks to your sacrifice and dedication, the military brotherhood, friendship and unbreakable alliance between the DPRK and Russia are being strengthened," the North Korean leader said.
He called on the soldiers to maintain courage and noted that their service is for the fraternal Russian people, the honor of Koreans and the dignity of the state.
