A meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Donald Trump is needed to reach an agreement on the remaining 10% of the conflict settlement program. The leader of Ukraine announced this during a briefing.
According to the head of state, the remaining points of the program refer to security guarantees, territories and the reconstruction of Ukraine. Moreover, 90% of the program has already been agreed at the level of delegations, the president noted.
"This is not easy, and no one is saying that we will reach 100% immediately. However, we must get closer to the desired result through every meeting, through every conversation," Zelensky said.
A few hours ago, Zelensky announced the planned meeting with Trump, noting that "much can be decided before the New Year" in the conflict settlement process. According to Ukrainian media, the meeting may take place on December 28 at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
