An official event was held in Istanbul, where the 2nd "PNS khaibar" corvette of the "MİLGEM" series of the Pakistan Navy was commissioned.
High-ranking political and military officials of Turkey and Pakistan participated in the event. Commander of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Navid Ashraf, spoke at the ceremony, who, referring to the Turkish-Pakistani relations, said that the military cooperation between the two countries has strengthened even more.
"Bilateral involvement deepens our military partnership," he added. In addition, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a speech, describing the bilateral relations as "an example of brotherhood", and considered it necessary for the military industry partnership between Turkey and Pakistan to develop further in the near future.
