In 2026, the presidency of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will pass to Kazakhstan. This was announced by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during a small session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. TASS reports.
"One of the important issues on the agenda is the presidency in the bodies of our union in 2026. According to the established procedure, this honorary right passes to the Republic of Kazakhstan. I am sure that the presidency of Astana will give a new and powerful impetus to the development of Eurasian economic integration, as it has always been with us," he noted.
