Elon Musk became the first person in history whose fortune exceeded 700 billion dollars, reports Forbes.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder's fortune soared after the Delaware Supreme Court voided Musk's Tesla stock option awards, now valued at $139 billion.

A Delaware state court previously ruled in January 2024 that the process behind the granting of options now worth $139 billion was not fair to shareholders. Thus, Musk's fortune is now estimated at $749 billion.

After the current court ruling, Tesla has once again become Musk's most valuable asset.
