An important international award ceremony will take place in St. Petersburg. According to the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadir Zhaparov, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will receive the International Peace Prize.

"Today is a very important event. three presidents, the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, will be awarded the Tolstoy Peace Prize," Peskov told reporters. He emphasized the importance of this event, reminding that the decision to award this award to the leaders of the three Central Asian states was made a few months ago.

The Leo Tolstoy International Peace Prize is a recognition of the contribution made in the development of stability, security and humanitarian cooperation.
