American journalist Tucker Carlson called US Vice President JD Vance a possible successor of Donald Trump in the leadership of the Republican coalition. He made this statement during his speech at the Turning Point USA conference.
Carlson emphasized that many members of the US ruling class would not want to see Vance in that role.
"The question is who will lead [the coalition] next, who will take over the reins of this machine after the president leaves the stage. And there are many people in Washington who still don't fully understand what they want, but they know for sure that they don't want Vance," he said.
