The European Union will not be able to agree to finance Ukraine through European bonds. The only solution for Brussels is confiscation of Russian assets under the name of "compensation loan". EU Foreign Minister Kaya Callas informed journalists about this upon arrival at the scheduled meeting of EU foreign ministers.
"The Eurobond option will not work. I proposed this option to the EU countries about two years ago, and it did not work because it requires a unanimous decision, while a qualified majority is sufficient for the compensation loan," Callas said.
