"I was in the city hall of Saint-Malo, where I had a phone conversation with several colleagues and President Trump on the issue of Ukraine. During those 40 minutes, we had discussions trying to make progress on a topic that is important to all of us. Sorry for my delay," he said during a meeting organized with readers of the regional newspaper Ouest-France. The broadcast was carried out from the Élysée Palace on the X social network.
