Trump spoke about the strikes by the US military on boats in international waters, which Washington says are used by smugglers from Latin American countries to transport drugs to the US. The head of the White House has repeatedly warned in recent days that the United States will soon begin striking land targets as part of the fight against drug cartels in Latin America.
He claimed that Washington has detailed information about the ways of illegal drug trafficking in the region.
