Louvre workers will go on strike

Louvre workers have voted against a strike against deteriorating working conditions, Le Monde reports.

The journalists explained that the three largest trade unions of the museum participated in the vote. According to the report, the strike of the employees will begin on December 15 and will continue until the management comes to a compromise.

"Every day, the halls of the museum close much earlier than planned due to lack of staff, technical malfunctions and the dilapidated condition of the building. Access to artworks is limited. Visiting the Louvre has turned into a real obstacle course," the trade unions said in a statement.
