South Korea is not going to impose new sanctions on Russia

The South Korean government does not intend to impose new sanctions against Russia or sever communication with Moscow. South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hayun stated this during a meeting with journalists in Seoul.

According to him, the Republic of Korea understands that the situation in Ukraine is of great importance to European countries, and Seoul closely monitors Europe's sanctions against Russia.

"We have no intention to impose additional sanctions or sever communication," he said.
