RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan received a delegation led by the World Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO).
Alfred Kocharyan, Deputy Minister of Educations, was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, the Minister of Edition Jeanne Andreasyan noted that the Armenian government needs winemaking. In addition to being a valuable national cultural heritage, it is also a developing direction in professional and higher education systems, and is in great demand among students. In the context of the promotion of the sector, Zhanna Andreasyan particularly highlighted the possibility of cooperation with the National Agrarian University of Armenia, the implementation of joint educational programs.
During the meeting, they also touched upon the restoration and strengthening of the wine harvest of "Zvartnots" Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum, which also testifies to the state policy on winemaking as an ancient civilization and cultural heritage.
(GWTO) President Antonio Vidal has introduced the activities of the organization in the field of ENEROTURISM, noting that they are interested in cooperation with Armenia.
