Chinese authorities support the improvement of Russian-American relations. The statement came from Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Nin.
"China welcomes the maintenance of relations between Russia and the United States and the improvement of relations between them," he said during a briefing.
According to the official representative, Beijing also supports all efforts to contribute to the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. Mao Ning noted the need to promote the political settlement of this conflict.
