Ukraine fears that US President Donald Trump can "sell" Kiev during a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Politico thinks.
"The nightmare for Ukraine is that President Donald Trump will use his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday to present himself as a Nobel Peace Prize, promoting a military regulation, which will be sold in the publication."
The Kremlin and the White House announced last week that Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska on August 15. Spokeswoman for White House Spokesman Keroli Levit announced on Tuesday that the summit will take place in an unknown.
CNN, citing anonymous White House officials, said the meeting will take place at Elmendorf-Richardson Air Base.
