The Prime Minister of India will take part in the SCO summit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit China to participate in the main regional summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Indian NDTV TV channel reports.

This is the first visit of the Prime Minister of India to the neighboring country since the clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers in May 2020.

"For the first time after the collision of Prime Minister Modi, China will run for the most important regional summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)," the TV channel said.

India and China have a long-term territorial dispute between almost 60,000 square kilometers in the northeastern part of Arunachal Pradesh, as well as around part of the mountainous area in northern Kashmir.

The real control line, which serves as a border between the countries of this region, passes through the highlands of Latakh. In the fall of 1962, the dispute turned into a border war.
