Four protesters have been arrested in Serbia

Serbian police have arrested four people in protests on Monday at night and have caused two criminal cases, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

A large protest of students and opposition supporters took place on Monday evening, during which protesters demanded the release of their protesters who were arrested for closing the highway earlier. Before the protest, the police found a bundle of wooden rods, but the action was peaceful.

"During the last night, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs inspected 263 documents. Four were taken to police departments.

"Four administrative violations were reported, and two people were charged with a criminal offense. All obstacles to transport in Serbia and Belgrade have been eliminated, and roads are free, "the law enforcement author said.
