The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia denies the statement of the Artsakh Rights Protection Council that the Armenian authorities are being repressed on the eve of the July 12 rally.
"The statement on repression does not correspond to reality at all. The Ministry of Internal Affairs discusses organizational issues with both any and this gathering organizers. During the authorized gathering, the Ministry of Internal Affairs must maintain the public order, which will be implemented properly, "Narek Sargsyan told Armenpress.
On July 12, the rally convened by the Artsakh Rights Protection Council is scheduled for July 12 at 18:00. Earlier, the NSS Committee on Protection of the Artsakh Protection claimed that repressions on the members and supporters of the Council were used by the Armenian authorities.
The council also said that the Yerevan Municipality has authorized their rally, but after that the planned march to the National Assembly and government buildings, as well as the sit-in strike.
