Scientists from Irwin University in California have discovered an exoplanet, Kepler-22b, which is close to the country with its characteristics and can be considered the potential analogue (copy). The results of the work were published in the Arxiv scientific preliminary printing portal.
The exoplope is a planet outside the solar system. Within the framework of the work, scientists have analyzed 517 such facilities registered in the database of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Department).
They studied eight basic settings of exopleans, including radius and density, the level of solar radiation, the surface temperature, the properties of the star, which rotate.
Researchers also accounted for the so-called metal, the content of heavy elements from hydrogen and helium, which affect the formation and chemical staff of the planets. Researchers have developed a new assessment system based on similarity with the earth.
According to the model, only 0.6% of the analyzed objects, including three planets, corresponded to all the main standards of residentiality.
It is located in the northern hemisphere in the sky and stretches for the Milky Way.
