The United States has threatened with 17% customs duties on the import of its agricultural products.

The American side has taken this step forward to reach an agreement between the United States and the EU before the July 9 deadline.
The newspaper notes that the warning was passed on to the European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Marosh Sheffchovich during a meeting in Washington on July 3, and the next day it was already transferred to the ambassadors of the EU member states.
US President Donald Trump first stated that due to the complexity of trade talks with the EU, it plans to enter 50% of the community imports from June 1 to 50%. On May 26, Tramper stated that he agreed to postpone the definition of 50% of imports from EU countries on June 1 until July 9.
At the same time, he reminded that European companies will not have to pay any customs duties if they produce their products in the United States. According to the Lord of the White House, one of the main goals of the EU was to get an advantage over the United States.
