The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reaffirmed the strong commitment to freedom of the media on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ani Badalyan made a post on this X Microblog.
"On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, we reaffirm our strong commitment to freedom of the media as an important component of the protection of the rights of our citizens. By the same logic, we continue their efforts to overcome the challenges caused by the fight against misinformation and the challenges caused by rapid technological progress, "said the speaker.
They reminded the Foreign Ministry, Armenia has made significant achievements, including a summary of "Freedom of the Press Index" 2025, occupying the 34th place, which is a simple testimony of democratic resistance and reform efforts.
