On April 25, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Ghazaryan was on a working visit to Budapest. Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs met with Parliamentary Secretary of State Benzet Retrie of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Hungary.
The parties informed that the parties discussed the prospects of public security, crime, disaster risk reduction and disaster risk reduction and migration.
He emphasized the potential of the cooperation of law enforcement agencies of the two countries, including the exchange and educational spheres of experience.
They also touched upon the migration sector, including the management of the migration system, illegal migration.
Armen Ghazaryan presented his colleague the current process of the RA-EU visa liberalization dialogue, including the work done with the EU assessment missions.
Benz Retal stressed that Hungary highly appreciates Armenia's efforts in this direction, particularly in terms of the implementation of the readmission agreement. The Parliamentary Secretary of State of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Hungary noted that they are considering Armenia as a positive cooperation country in this field, which should be attitudinous.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to develop a partnership in the development of joint programs and developing capacity building.
